Pecunix Incorporated Company has been registered in Panama in 2002. Pecunix payment system refers to the group of so-called "gold-based e-currencies" (e-currencies which are backed by gold). All gold resources which back Pecunix Incorporated digital payment system are kept in Zürich ( Switzerland ). Pecunix uses grams of gold as the primary unit of payment (GAU – Grams (G) Of Gold (AU – (lat.)- ”aurum” – ”gold”). Thereby, 1 GAU = 1 Pecunix. Or 1 Pecunix is equal to 1 gram of solid gold. There is also an alternative unit which is used for accounts between some users – troy ounce of gold or OAU (Ounces (O) of Gold (AU)). 1 OAU = 31.1034768 Pecunix.

Pecunix – is a multicurrency payment system (it deals with 22 national currencies including Rubles of Russian Federation). Correspondingly, every user can open account in Pecunix, without any dependence on the place he lives. There are no obligatory demands for indicating real personal data of the owner of the account. Account registration is free. Account working is being processed through the protected web-interface of the system.


When carrying out transactions within the system, there is a commission – less than 100 grams of gold (less than 1500$) - 0.5%. – more than 100 grams of gold -
0.15% for each transaction , but not more than 3 grams of gold – payer chooses himself who and in what way will pay the commission of payment system.

There are three variants of commission:

1) Payment sender pays the commission;

2) Payment receiver pays the commission;

3) The sum of the commission is divided equally between the receiver and sender!

Minimal sum of payment is 0.0001 grams . There is no commission for funds keeping.

Your E-mail indicated during the registration process is your account number. Besides, the system is rather secure one, excelling E-Gold in security. When entering the account for the first time its user gets specially generated by the system unique PIK-keys (Private Identification Keys). This is Account Details PIK – code which is used to change user's personal data, making configuration changes inside the account. Also Payment PIK – is a code phrase which is essential to confirm all transactions. In such a way in combination with user's password and also two PIK-keys Pecunix offers high three-level system of security. Besides, at the moment of creating account in Pecunix, the “code fragment” is being sent on user's E-mail which contains PGP-keys. The element of the letter must be entered into the special section of your account. Since that moment all transactions will have unique digital PGP-signature. If the user loses his login-password, he can restore access to his account on the conditions he pays 5 grams of gold equivalent to the system. If you don't use your account for five years but there are more than 5 grams of gold equivalent there (more than 75 USD), the administration of the digital payment system will contact you and remind about that fact. But if there are less than 5 USD on your account and you haven't entered your account for the last five years, then it will be blocked by the system automatically without any notification.
